About Line Check
The short version. Line Check is a plain-English directory and calculator set for restaurant owners deciding whether an AI tool is worth the money. It is written by an operator, not a vendor.
Who runs it
I'm Edin Tabakovic. I co-own Poke House TX, four restaurants in the Austin area. That gives me practical insight into how these tools are used, and it is also a conflict to be aware of: I run restaurants that could use some of the tools listed here.
Disclosure and editorial rules
- No paid ratings. No vendor pays for a listing, a score, or a position in the directory. There are no scores yet, only facts and sources.
- Sponsored content is labeled. If sponsors are ever added, every sponsored item will carry a visible Sponsored label and will be kept separate from the directory.
- Pricing comes from public vendor pages. Each price shows its source link and the date last checked. Blank means no public price found, not that the tool is free or cheap.
- Poke House TX. If Poke House TX uses, tests or is offered anything by a listed vendor, that will be disclosed on the entry.
- Affiliate links. None today. If added, they will be labeled and will not change the listing order.
Known limits
Prices change, plans differ by location and contract, and some vendors only quote. Calculator defaults are placeholders. This is a working draft with no domain, no accounts and no live newsletter.
